Warranty on goods

This Warranty applies to the original purchaser (“you”, “your”) of any products purchased directly from us or an authorised retailer in the United Kingdom.

This Warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  1. Warranty

We warrant that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 36 months from the date of original purchase (“the Warranty Period”).

  1. What’s covered

During the Warranty Period, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product, or a component of the product, if it is found to be defective due to a fault in materials or workmanship. This includes the cost of parts and labour.

  1. How to Make a Claim

To make a claim under this Warranty, you must:

  • Contact our customer service team at 01522 740118 or email sales@gardenlifedirect.co.uk within the Warranty period.
  • Provide proof of original purchase, such as a receipt or invoice, showing the date of purchase and the name of the retailer.
  • Describe the nature of the defect in detail.
  • Follow our instructions for returning the product for inspection. You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us. We will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replacement product to you.
  1. What is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or improper use or maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, and chips.
  • Damage caused by fire, flood, or other natural disasters.
  • Damage caused by repair or modification by anyone other than our authorised service technicians.
  • Products with a tampered or removed serial number.
  • Damage caused by use of the product in a manner for which it was not intended.
  • Damage caused by use of non-authorised accessories or parts.
  1. Our Responsibilities

If a valid claim is made under this Warranty, our sole responsibility is to repair or replace the product, at our discretion. If we replace the product, the replacement will be a new or refurbished product of the same or equivalent model.

The repaired or replacement product will be covered by the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
